Description

Overview The D-FW 440 D is an in-situ particulate / dust filter monitor designed for continuous, real-time measurement of solid particles in gas flows. Calibratable in mass concentration (e.g. mg/m³) and certified to standards including EN 14181 and EN 15859; US EPA capable. Engineered for low maintenance and direct duct installation to support regulatory compliance and reliable plant operation.

Technology Triboelectric sensing principle; direct in-situ, single-sided installation for dust arrestment plants and filtration systems.

Benefits
  • Direct monitoring of dust filter performance — provides quantitative dust concentration (mg/m³) for filter control and trend analysis.
  • Standards compliance — measurement capabilities aligned with EN 14181, EN 15267-1/-2, EN 15859, US EPA and other international standards.
  • Proven triboelectric detection — reliable particle detection based on charge interaction, suited to industrial environments.
  • Compact, easy installation — suitable for retrofits and confined mounting locations; compatible with control cabinets and process ducts.
  • Standard output and alarms — isolated 4 ... 20 mA active loop plus 2 independent SPDT relays (NO/NC) for PLC/process integration and alarm reporting.
  • True in-situ measurement — no extraction sampling, enabling immediate response to emission events.
  • Low maintenance — no moving parts or consumables, minimizing downtime and operating costs.
  • Supports predictive maintenance — detects changes in filter cleaning pulses and emission trends to enable proactive interventions.
  • Improves environmental performance — helps meet emission limits and reduce risks of product loss or regulatory penalties.
  • Enhanced safety — continuous monitoring reduces exposure and lowers dust explosion risk.
  • Wide industry use — applicable in cement, steel, power generation, pharmaceuticals, wood processing, food/agriculture and more.

Compliance & Certifications
  • EN 15267-1 (2009)
  • EN 15267-2 (2023)
  • EN 15859 (2010)
  • EN 14181 (2015)
  • US EPA capable

Applications
  • Continuous dust filter detection and dust arrestment monitoring for baghouses, cyclones and exhaust ducts to detect filter failures early and control emissions.
  • Process control and trend monitoring to reveal cleaning cycle faults, ventilation issues and long-term performance shifts.
  • Suitable across multiple sectors where dust control and compliance are critical: cement plants, metalworking and welding extraction, sawmill and wood processing filtration, food and agriculture powder processing, chemical and pharmaceutical production, plastics processing.
