Extended description
The OPTi® digital handheld refractometer from Bellingham + Stanley (Xylem) is designed for a wide range of applications including food & beverage, chemical, life science, automotive and industrial processes. The instrument covers a broad measurement span (0–95 °Brix / 1.3330–1.5300 RI) and can store and activate up to three user-selected scales (A, B, C) from a library of 50. Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) is applied as appropriate for the selected scale or sample. The Special Features menu provides high ambient light detection (HAL), AG Test Mode for performance verification, a delay-before-reading function to stabilise sample temperature, selectable temperature display (°C/°F) and resettable PIN protection. The OPTi® is manufactured in the UK and ships pre-loaded with the Brix scale (Scale A).
