SFP-AF breather caps are technopolymer venting caps designed for fluid reservoirs and tanks. They integrate a high-efficiency polyester air filter (3 µm) and a splash guard on the threaded fitting to prevent fluid escape while allowing controlled air exchange.

Main specifications

• Cover: polyamide-based (PA) technopolymer, black RAL 9005, matte finish, laser-engraved graphic symbols.
• Threaded fitting: polyamide-based (PA) technopolymer, with splash guard and hexagon nut for wrench tightening, black, semi-matte finish.
• Packing ring: flat washer in NBR synthetic rubber.
• Air filter: polyester element, filtration 3 µm (efficiency > 98%).
• Maximum continuous working temperature: 100°C.

General information

• Design: SFP-AF caps (registered design) feature a specific internal geometry that limits fluid leakage to the outside.
• Hexagon on the threaded fitting allows application of higher tightening torque with a wrench to ensure correct gasket compression.
• Air flow data for the different executions are available from the product diagrams based on the pressure differential between internal and external reservoir pressure (see product diagrams and sectional drawings).
