Product description
The Enerpat two-shaft shredder is designed for two-stage processing of end-of-life lithium batteries within a recycling line. It performs coarse and fine shredding to prepare material for subsequent pyrolysis and mechanical sorting. It operates at low speed with high torque, offering low noise and efficient energy consumption.

Role in the recycling line
The two-shaft shredder is the primary-stage equipment: provides primary reduction to fractions <200 mm and secondary reduction to fractions <30 mm, preparing feedstock for pyrolysis and mechanical separation.

Processed materials
After prior disassembly and full discharge, suitable lithium cell types include:
  • Cylindrical cells (including 18650, 21700, 4680, etc.).
  • Prismatic rigid-case cells.
  • Pouch (laminated) cells.
  • Small battery modules.
Limitations: high-strength bolts >8 mm diameter, steel/aluminum plates >2 mm thickness and stainless steel >1 mm thickness are not permitted.
