Description

Hawker® sealed lead acid batteries, manufactured by EnerSys, the global leader in energy storage solutions, have been at the forefront of innovation and technical excellence for more than 40 years. They have evolved and advanced to deliver the improved power and performance required by successive generations of aircraft. Details Hawker sealed lead acid batteries consists of two 12 Volt monoblocs housed inside a battery case. The battery case is manufactured either using stainless steel or glass reinforced plastic. The two monoblocs are connected in series and to the main connector using highly conductive electrolytic copper tinned laminations. Vent tubes attached to the battery’s case allow venting to take place. A main connector on the front of the battery container connects it to the aircraft’s electrical system. Hawker sealed lead acid aircraft batteries comply with the highest requirements of airworthiness as set out by EASA, FAA, OEM’s and Ministries of Defence.
