OverviewThe FIDIA Go5 is a 5-axis high-speed milling centre with a fixed gantry and moving table configuration, engineered to deliver maximum rigidity within a compact footprint. StructureThe Go5 follows a fixed-gantry architecture with a moving table, made from high-mass cast iron castings to prioritise dynamic stability. This construction provides excellent vibration damping typical of high-speed machining, superior thermal behaviour and reduced geometric drift over long cycles. The 45° inclined base acts as a load-bearing element, distributing mass for torsional rigidity and sustained accuracy across the working volume.
Plug & Play InstallationDesigned for logistical flexibility: the cast iron monoblock allows installation on good-quality industrial floors without special foundations. Leveling is performed via anti-vibration mounts to reduce commissioning time. The self-supporting structure permits relocation and lifting without compromising original geometric alignment and precision.
Milling unitThe Go5 can be fitted with two spindle families to meet production needs from high-speed roughing to ultra-precision finishing. Each spindle is supported by closed-circuit cooling for bearings and windings. Bearings receive minimal air/oil lubrication automatically managed to ensure longevity under continuous high-speed operation.
