OverviewSide clamp PTSC1 designed for manual and automated production fixtures. The top-located hex head, when turned, advances the jaw to apply clamping force. The hex head can be operated by hand, with an impact wrench, or by a nut runner on automated lines. An M6 tapped hole in the jaw allows attachment of workholding grippers.
Materials and construction- Body and jaw: 4140 steel
- Hex head: 4135 steel, quenched and tempered, black oxide finish
- Cover plate: 1045 steel, quenched and tempered, black oxide finish
