Description

Overview
EICS® integrates ignition (FW Murphy’s IntelliSpark®), air/fuel control, electronic speed governing, ECU, sensors, harnesses and optional catalyst into a single pre-configured package. This reduces installation complexity and field setup time while providing engine-specific calibration for optimal operation. The D-EPR valve supports wide fuel composition and speed/load ranges and incorporates load-following capability for variable operating conditions.

Main Features
  • OEM-style solution for after-market retrofit applications
  • Two packages: performance/efficiency package and optional emissions package (includes catalyst)
  • Single unit combining CD ignition, air/fuel control and electronic speed governing
  • Pre-calibrated and dyno-tested for specific engine models
  • Advanced electronic air–fuel ratio control
  • Fast response to engine speed/load changes and fuel quality variations
  • FW Murphy’s IntelliSpark® coils for enhanced diagnostics and dynamic spark adjustment
  • Graphical color user interface
  • Data sharing via Modbus RS485
  • Onboard data logging

Benefits (Specifications Summary)
  • Simplifies installation compared with separate components
  • Enables advanced integrated diagnostics
  • Engine-specific configuration removes need for generic field setup
  • Pre-calibrated: eliminates most field dialing-in
  • Optimizes engine performance and operational consistency
  • Maintains emissions compliance between tests without frequent adjustments
  • Eliminates magneto failures and reduces spark plug wear
  • Reduces diagnostic time for engine failures
  • Lowers operating costs associated with the engine
