This thermometer is specifically designed to measure soil temperature. It is useful for farmers and gardeners to help them plan their plantings it may also be used for scientific purposes. A regular wipe down is recommended in order to remove any debris that may have adhered. This thermometers need to be left in place for a few seconds in order to generate a stable reading.
