Type of mill : BALL Mill
OPERATION:
The ball mill is an industrial grinding machine that uses balls (made of steel, ceramic, or other hard material) rotating within a cylinder. The impact on the material and the friction of the balls reduce the size of the particles to be ground.
DESIGN:
The mill consists of a rotating cylinder, grinding balls, a drive motor, a feeding device, and a discharge system. The rotation of the cylinder ensures the mixing and fragmentation of the material.
- Robust structure made of welded steel sheets
- Internal liner available
- Flywheel available
- Depending on the operating mode, central or lateral discharge
Efficiency depends on the rotation speed, the size and load of the grinding media, the type of material, and the grinding time. Careful control of these parameters optimizes fineness and energy consumption.
APPLICATIONS :
Used in many sectors: cement plants, mining, metallurgy, chemicals, and ceramics manufacturing. It is used for the fine grinding or pulverization of solid materials.
