Description

PGH090 planetary gear box features, high torque density, compact design, low noise, high efficiency, smooth transmission, suitable for high precision positioning. Commonly used in automation equipment and robots. One of a complicated and effective gear transmission mechanism is planetary gear box. Mostly it consists of sun gear, planet gear, planet carrier and inner ring gear. The sun gear is in the middle; the planet gear revolves around the sun gear and meshes simultaneously with the inner ring gear. The planet gear is supported with the planet carrier. Working, the power input causes relative motion between the inner ring gear, planet gear, and sun gear. This arrangement has the relative compactness and a high reduction ratio as advantages. Many disciplines, including industrial automation equipment, robots, generation of wind power, etc., make extensive use of it. To satisfy varying power transmission needs, it can precisely regulate torque and output speed. 1. rovide strong torque output A planetary gearbox is a set of several planetary gears rotating around the sun gear. This structure can achieve a rather low reduction ratio in a quite small volume. By rather designing the gear ratio of the planetary gear, the high-speed, low-torque motor input can be transformed into the low-speed, high-torque output demanded by the joint. Following the conversion of the planetary gearbox with a reduction ratio of 10:1 a torque of 100N・m, assuming that the output torque of the motor is 10N・m, one can obtain on the output shaft of the planetary gearbox, which can drive the robot joint to overcome more resistance and achieve actions such lifting heavy objects.
