In one operation, the COFA tool provides consistent deburring of the front and back of both even and uneven bore edges.
In just a single cycle it can remove burrs that are on the front and back of a drilled through-hole, whether it is an even or an uneven surface. The burrs are radially removed from the bore edges without the workpiece having to be turned or having to stop the spindle. It can be used universally in automatic and manual procedures for high volume production.
The COFA tool has an exchangeable carbide blade which has material-specific coating. It has a simple design, is reliable, provides a robust process and dependable handling. It enables uniform radial deburring to be carried out on even and uneven bore edges without causing damage to the bore surface while penetrating the bore. It can be used for bores with 2.0mm diameters or larger.
