The NFX86-D8-N128-021 is an IT/OT edge gateway designed for IIoT and Industry 4.0 applications. It collects, preprocesses and routes data between operational technology and IT systems, and runs application-specific functions via containerized software to support production and control processes.

Platform and management
The device runs a security-enhanced Yocto Linux and includes a web-based configuration GUI. It supports two independent container engines: one for local/manual deployment and one for centralized, remote and automatic deployment via the netFIELD Cloud platform enabling continuous 24/7 lifecycle management of devices and containers.
