DescriptionsensorEDGE FIELD is an instant solution to monitor IO-Link-equipped machines at the edge. Housed in an IP67 enclosure, the device aggregates signals from up to eight local IO-Link sensors and exposes sensor data as MQTT messages. The built-in container engine allows the MQTT broker and additional processing or forwarding containers to run directly on the device. An optional central edge management feature provides remote orchestration of the device and its containers via a cloud portal.
Key features- Connection of up to 8 local IO-Link sensors
- Freely usable CPU processing power: 1.6 GHz Quad‑Core ARM 64-bit
- Sensor data accessible via internal MQTT bus and available as MQTT messages
- Includes IO-Link web configurator and IO-Link→MQTT data converter
- Extendable with customer-developed IoT applications using containers
- Optional central device and container management through cloud portal
- IP67 protection for direct installation in machines
