netFIELD Edge devices act as intelligent IT/OT edge gateways for IIoT and Industry 4.0 applications. They collect, process and forward operational data on-site, host containerized applications and support centralized lifecycle management via the netFIELD Cloud. Built on a security-enhanced Yocto Linux, the devices provide local web configuration and two independent container engines (local/manual and centralized/automatic) to separate local maintenance from remote orchestration.
