This is a typical deep-drawn part that we manufactured for a US-based company. Before producing a deep-drawn part, through planning and design work are required, including determining the material, thickness, shape, and size, as well as devising a suitable mold design for the part.
For this project, we needed to manufacture a separate punching mold to cut four holes in the SGCC raw material to release internal pressure during the stretching process.
Next, the punched metal material was placed in a deep-drawing mold and stretched to the desired shape through external pressure. Finally, the product was subjected to chrome plating surface treatment to improve its corrosion resistance and aesthetic appearance.
