Overview
The Anybus Communicator Serial Master to PROFINET IO‑Device is a protocol gateway that connects any RS-232/485 device to PROFINET control systems. It enables reliable, secure and low-latency data transfer between legacy serial equipment and modern PROFINET controllers. The device is configured via an intuitive web-based interface and includes built-in cybersecurity measures.
