The 10.9-ton Carver® Hydraulic Laboratory Pellet Press developed by Horiba Scientific. It is mainly used for tedious pressing of sample pellets for XRF, IR, and other scientific methods. The unit is a manually controlled laboratory press that accepts all SPEX sampleprep evacuable pellet die sets. It comes with rough design and reliable operations for extraordinary durability performance. The upper platen is equipped with a safety shield for user protection and the hardened steel support plate is engraved with concentric circles enabling simple centering of the die. In addition, the framework allows accepts 13 mm, 31 mm, 35 mm, and 40 mm pelletdie sets. Its typical samples include cement, rock, minerals, soils, ceramics, and pharmaceuticals.
