The sockets are used for work with AC voltages up to 1,000 V or DC voltages up to 1,500 V. The long sockets are used for loosening and tightening bolted connections on switchgear connecting boxes, cable lines and overhead lines. Magnetic inserts prevent bolts and nuts from falling out of the working head of the socket. Works with bar drives, torque wrench, ratchet wrench, extensions bars and other tools that have ½" square connectors. STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE Store sockets in a bag or toolbox separate from other tools to avoid mechanical damage. Store sockets in a dry place away from heat sources, in a non-chemically aggressive atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. Sockets should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. In case of heavy soiling, clean the wrenches with a cloth dampened in water with a mild detergent or cloth dampened with ASOREL and dry thoroughly.
