The sockets are used for live work up to 1 000 V AC and 1 500 V DC. The sockets are designed for loosening and tightening of hexagon socket head screws on switchgear connecting boxes and cable lines as well as for insulation-piercing terminals on overhead lines. Works with bar drives, torque wrench, ratchet drive and other tools that have ½" square connectors. STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE Store sockets in a bag or toolbox separate from other tools to avoid mechanical damage. Store sockets in a dry place away from heat sources, in a non-chemically aggressive atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. Sockets should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. In case of heavy soiling, clean the wrenches with a cloth dampened in water with a mild detergent or cloth dampened with ASOREL and dry thoroughly.
