The short sockets are used for loosening and tightening bolted connections on switchgear connecting boxes, cable lines and overhead lines. STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE Store sockets in a bag or toolbox separate from other tools to avoid mechanical damage. Store sockets in a dry place away from heat sources, in a non-chemically aggressive atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. Sockets should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. In case of heavy soiling, clean the wrenches with a cloth dampened in water with a mild detergent or cloth dampened with ASOREL and dry thoroughly.
