Ring spanners are used for live work up to 1 000 V AC or 1 500 V DC on switchgear devices, cable lines and overhead lines. The ring spanners are designed for loosening and tightening bolted connections. STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE Store ring spanners in a bag or toolbox separate from other tools to avoid mechanical damage. Store ring spanners in a dry place away from heat sources, in a non-chemically aggressive atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. Ring spanners should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. In case of heavy soiling, clean the ring spanners with a cloth dampened in water with a mild detergent or cloth dampened with ASOREL and dry thoroughly.
