Description

A screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated, spool-type, vent-to-air, hydraulic directional valve for 3-way circuits requiring remote pilot actuation. Operation In neutral (unpiloted), the PD16-2340 allows flow from ③ to ② bi-directionally, while flow is blocked at ④. The spring chamber vent-to-air, which is internally O-ring sealed from the cartridge flow paths . On remote pilot signal at ① , the valve shifts to open from ③ to ④ ,while blocking flow at ②. Since spring chamber vent-to-air and O-ring sealed, the cartridge may be fully pressurized at any port without affecting required pilot pressure, the pilot pressure would not be affected by the pressure from ④ . Features Hardened spool and cage for long life. Compact and convenience. Industrial general cavity. Range of bias springs available. Max. Flow: See performance chart Oil volume required to full shift: 2.6 ml (0.16 cu.in.) Internal leakage: 42 ml/min (2.56 cu.in./min) max. at 350 bar (5000 psi) Installation torque: 61-67 Nm (45-50 ft.lbs) Fluid: Mineral based or synthetics with lubricating properties at viscosities of 7.4~420 cSt (50-2000 ssu) Installation: No restriction Cavity: V16-4 Cavity tool: T/H16-4RC-T-G (Rough), T/H16-4FM-T-G (Finishing)
