The new Ensenso S10 shows that 3D technology with industrial-grade quality is not necessarily expensive. With its ultra-compact and price-optimised zinc die-cast housing with IP65/67 protection class, precise 3D data with high Z-accuracy is now available for price-sensitive, high-volume projects that often do not require the highest accuracy. The basis for this is the new laser point triangulation, which is supported by artificial intelligence. Via Power over Ethernet a data transfer and power supply are possible with long cable lengths. The 3D camera meets the requirements for protection code IP65/67 and is therefore protected against dirt, dust, water splashes or cleaning agents. The S10 3D cameras are pre-calibrated and come with an MVTec HALCON interface as well as an object-oriented API (C++, C# / .NET). The S10 models are suitable for 3D acquisition of moving objects and working distances up to 3,000 mm and are available with an opening angle of 60°.
