The SU type ultrasonic flow rate sensor with robot inline design are used to monitor volumetric flow rates, temperature of the medium and offers suitability in water, oil and glycol solutions. The device operates as per transit time difference principle to calculate volumetric flow quantities up to 200 l/min ans also measures non-conductive water. The device features a pair of sound transducers positioned in a defined pipe length to emit sound pulses.
The pulse trains emitted with the flow in the pipe length quickly transfers through the flowing medium to the receiver. The transit time difference provides the current volumetric flow quantity. The result is displayed on the unit for signal processing. The system is particularly suited for monitoring cooling circuits. The device uses binary, analogue and pulse outputs for signal processing. The sensor offers flow rate, totalising and medium temperature indication. Adapters are used for various process connections.
