Coil heater

Product overview
Straight coil heaters are developed for small-dimension metallic pipe heating. IHP’s straight coil heaters are manufactured in stainless steel AISI321 and are available in several power classes to suit different pipe diameters and process requirements. Equipping the heater with an internal thermocouple provides accurate temperature control and extends service life.

Control and Use
The heater can be integrated with IHP's PID control cabinet to form a complete heating system with precise temperature control, ramp functions, adjustable maximum temperature and programmable steps with ramp and set point. The straight coil heater can be mounted beneath a pipe or spiralized around it depending on diameter and customization. Note that once spiralized the heater will not tolerate new bends after the first heating. IHP can provide installation support and preventive maintenance services.
