Passive Purple X 10 kg is an airtight, vapour-open, water-resistant coating and vapour-control membrane for fire-conscious airtight builds. It is applied by airless spray or roller and supplied in white; cream, black and purple variants are available.

Uses & Directions of use

• Suitable substrates: insulation panels, concrete and brick walls, fibre cement boards, engineered wood panels / OSB
• Applications: façade refurbishment, retrofit, protective coating on concrete to reduce carbonation, smoke- and airtightness detailing
• Preparation: remove salt efflorescence, dust, loose parts and standing water; fill holes/joints if necessary
• Conditions: apply at substrate temperature > 5°C (follow product guidance for specific cases); application on damp surfaces allowed if no standing water; do NOT add water or solvents
• Do not apply in full sunlight or during rain
• Application: apply two layers; allow first coat to dry before second; clean tools with water
