Here at Intelligent Membranes, we have a range specifically for retrofitting air tightness and vapour control. The Retrofit Airtightness Spray/Roller Paint Passive Purple Retrofit is designed for vapour control and energy efficiency. Airtightness and controlling vapour equals better energy efficiency and a healthier indoor environment for occupants.

Passive Purple Retrofit
Passive Purple Retrofit is a liquid membrane formulation that adheres to the substrate, impregnating the surface to make it very difficult to damage. Unlike paper membranes that can be susceptible to cuts, this liquid membrane fills holes, cracks, penetration leaks and problem areas to create an airtight substrate. It is suitable for spray or roller application and supplied in a 10kg size.

• Passive House Institute Class A airtight — 0.02 m³/h·m² @ 50 Pa (EN 12114)
• Air barrier material — 0.02 L/s·m² at 75 Pa (ASTM E2178 · ICC-ES ESR-4715)
• Reaction to fire — Class A to ASTM E84; Euroclass C-s1,d0 to EN 13501-1 (B-s1,d0 with FRED)
• Watertight (EN 14891) and intelligent vapour control, Sd ~0.8–40 m (EN ISO 12572)
• Strong adhesion — steel 2.7, CLT 1.83, gypsum 1.6, brick 1.5 N/mm² (EN ISO 4624)
