Threading insert QUICK-THREAD

Product Overview
QUICK-THREAD is a multi-tooth threading insert concept developed to reduce the number of passes required when machining external (OD) and internal (ID) threads on lathes. QUICK-THREAD inserts are designed to be mounted in standard ISO-style holders and can be used with JETCUT holders for pinpointed coolant delivery directly to the cutting zone.

Design and Cutting Concept
QUICK-THREAD is a multi-tooth insert where each tooth performs a specific task along the same insert: the first tooth is dedicated to roughing, the second tooth to medium / semi-finishing (removing the bulk of material), and the last tooth to finishing the thread to required dimensions. The multiple-teeth arrangement increases the metal removal rate and reduces the number of separate passes required to produce a complete thread profile.

• Fewer passes: typically 1–2 passes to obtain a full, correct thread profile versus up to 4 passes with some competing systems.
• Higher metal removal rate and faster cycle times.
