The C6 SMART compact automation system for mounting top-hat rails is perfectly adapted to the runtime environment and real-time capability. Due to the system’s optimised performance, synchronous motion control tasks are managed with little effort by the user. The C6 SMART is solid and reliable thanks, among other things, to the micro UPS, available as standard, combined with independent memory management for operating systems, runtime environments, non-volatile data and user applications. With an installation space of just 47 mm x 122 mm x 124 mm and direct connection to KEB’s C6 Remote I/O system, the classic IPC becomes part of the clamping system. In addition to integrated real-time control, the C6 SMART not only handles visualisation but also offers a remote maintenance function, integrated as standard, via the COMBIVIS connect platform. This allows access to remote devices with an end-to-end connection.
