Overview
The modular u-remote I/O system UR20 is an IP20 system for control cabinets that supports common fieldbus protocols and complies with IEC 61131-2. Each station occupies a single bus address; only the fieldbus coupler is fieldbus-specific while I/O modules remain fieldbus-independent. With a standard fieldbus coupler up to 64 active I/O modules can be combined in one u-remote station; with an ECO fieldbus coupler up to 16 active I/O modules. Maximum expansion depends on the data volume of the selected fieldbus (configuration, parameter and process data). The IP20 cabinet system includes extensive functions and SIL-capable modules.

Installation
Double-click installation: u-remote station modules are quickly mounted to the DIN rail where a distinct click indicates locking. Pushing the module together with the neighbouring module produces a second click to confirm correct electrical and mechanical connection.
