The P8000 Stepper Drive Series is Kollmorgen's latest flagship stepper drive platform. These drives offer expanded output current ranges and functionality that enable customers to use a wider portfolio of Kollmorgen stepper motors. Ideal for labelers, indexers, CNC machines, packaging machines, pumps, and other applications requiring low-speed, point-to-point motion control for fixed loads. Available for both AC and DC operation, these drives are designed to power 2-phase hybrid stepper motors.Smooth motion across the speed range: The P8000 Series stepper drives utilize a sophisticated control algorithm that optimizes the output current to the motor phases, whether full-stepping or micro-stepping, resulting in smooth, quiet motion across the full speed range.Worldwide availability and support: Backed by Kollmorgen's world-class support and expertise, from motor + drive selection and sizing to setup and troubleshooting. All drives feature CE, RoHS, and REACH certifications. P80360 drives also feature UL certification.Faster Setup with Kollmorgen motors: Motor Wizard features within Kollmorgen Space and Kollmorgen Studio allow P80360 users with Kollmorgen motors to get machines running faster. Only initial profile velocities and acceleration times are required. The P80630-SDN features dip-switch selectable settings for phase current, idle current reduction, and step resolution (up to 1/128 microstep)—no programming required.P80630-SDN: Superior Power-to-Size ratio.
