Description

Product overview
The Comet and Hybrid metering machine series from KraussMaffei provide high-performance dosing solutions for processing filled PUR systems. Both systems deliver constant process parameters, modern control technology and high adaptability for demanding applications involving fillers premixed in polyol and/or isocyanate (short glass fibres, melamine, barium sulphate, expandable graphite, etc.). Comet uses servo-hydraulically controlled pistons while the Hybrid combines piston and pump technology for maximum flexibility.

Comet (piston metering)
The Comet series is a piston metering system (servo-hydraulic or electric) optimized for abrasive and highly filled formulations. It ensures stable shot weight and reproducible process behaviour over long production runs.
