The Rotor Lock (locking pin) is a locking system (Rotor Lock) that is used to lock the rotors of wind turbines mechanically when servicing is required. Rotor Locks in wind turbines are important safety components.
The hydraulically or electromechanically moved pins with position monitoring serve as a locking mechanism for locking rotors. The locking function is monitored with sensors.
Overview: KTR-STOP RL
KTR-STOP® RL hydraulic locking pin (Rotor Lock)
Reliable, hydraulic locking pins for wind turbines
The Rotor Lock RL is a hydraulic locking system (locking pin) that is used to mechanically lock the rotor of a wind turbine when servicing is required.
Rotor Lock systems of the KTR-STOP RL series are the hydraulic version of our locking pins and suitable for wind turbines (wind energy plants) of the smaller and medium performance class.
Alternatively to the hydraulic Rotor Lock, we also supply the electrical locking pins EMB-STOP RL.
