Description

Overview
The XC65DX cross scanner integrates three laser stripe scanners in a single sensor. The lasers are spaced 120° apart and capture the part from three angles, enabling acquisition in one scan equivalent to three line-scanner passes. The long-standoff variant preserves these advantages while improving access to recessed or obscured geometries, with a maximum capture distance of up to 170 mm (7.1"). Suitable for feature inspection on sheet metal and complex surfaces, the XC65DX is commonly used in automotive BIW inspection, gap & flush measurement and driveline casting inspection. It is frequently mounted on horizontal-arm CMMs for production metrology.

Key features
  • Triple laser-stripe design (three lasers in one sensor, 120° spacing)
  • Single-scan data density equivalent to three line-scanner scans
  • Long-standoff capability for access to obscured or recessed areas (up to 170 mm / 7.1")
  • Suitable for slots, holes, grooves, cavity surfaces and complex large-area geometries
  • Common uses: automotive BIW inspection, gap & flush measurement, driveline casting inspection; integration on horizontal-arm CMMs
