OverviewThe XC65DX cross scanner integrates three laser stripe scanners in a single sensor. The lasers are spaced 120° apart and capture the part from three angles, enabling acquisition in one scan equivalent to three line-scanner passes. The long-standoff variant preserves these advantages while improving access to recessed or obscured geometries, with a maximum capture distance of up to 170 mm (7.1"). Suitable for feature inspection on sheet metal and complex surfaces, the XC65DX is commonly used in automotive BIW inspection, gap & flush measurement and driveline casting inspection. It is frequently mounted on horizontal-arm CMMs for production metrology.
