Description

The LK Series coupling represents a low to mid power, two-piece design (flywheel mounted element and star shaped hub) that features very high torsional rigidity and is used to eliminate harmful torsional vibrations in diesel driven, flange mounted, hydraulic pump systems. It does this by raising the maximum critical speed of a system beyond the normal operating range allowing equipment with low mass or inertia to operate below critical speeds. This series represents an excellent solution for use with hydrostatic drives normally found on construction equipment, cranes, forklifts, excavators, vibratory rollers and tractors as well as any engine driven hydraulic system in the low to mid power range. These models are capable of nominal torque of up to 21,240 in-lb (2400 Nm) and are available in Zytel®.
