Split sleeve clamp with three bolts for temporary repair of all types of water or gas pipes. Compatible with potable water, it is used on many types of cracks (even cross cracks) with depths of up to 80%. It can also be used on cross cracks with depths exceeding 80% as long as the piping is well anchored since the clamp does not serve as locking joint. Also available with stainless nuts and bolts for higher corrosion resistance. - Repair of rigid pipelines made of steel, cast iron, fibre cement and PVC. - Certified for use on potable water systems according to M.D. 174 of 2004. - Subject to pressure testing in laboratory. - Application on all types of surfaces, even on rough surfaces. Materials - Ductile cast iron clamp GJS-500-7 according to UNI EN 1563, with electrostatic epoxy coating of medium thickness 250µm, nontoxic, according to UNI EN 14901, - Galvanised steel fixing bolts: screw M14 according to UNI EN ISO 898-1 with square below the head ref. DIN/ISO 603, nut ISO 4032 (UNI 5587), washer DIN125A/ISO7089, white electrolytic protective zinc coating. - NBR rubber gasket, 60 shore hardness, attached to the stainless steel strip in compliance with DM174/2004 for use on potable water systems. - AISI 304 stainless steel strip, thickness 0.80mm. - Stainless steel (AISI 304) bolts on request.
