The Marpa Vacuum MVLR-BE series contains liquid ring vacuum pumps and single-stage compressors. An eccentrically mounted impeller rotates inside a housing that is partially filled with operating fluid. The impeller blades are immersed in the fluid and rotate to exert centrifugal force, forming what is called a liquid ring inside the casing. The eccentric rotation of the impeller varies the volume of the fluid, causing the gas to be suctioned inside, compressed and expelled. The motor can be directly flange-mounted or mounted on a baseplate. Thanks to their efficient structure, these products save large amounts of energy and are extremely low maintenance. They are generally used to suction gases without solid particles and undissolved gases to generate a final vacuum level. The materials used to build these pumps can be customised to the customer’s requirements, depending on the final application, from standard carbon steel to grade-316 stainless steel. Thanks to the choice of materials, the MVLR-BE series can also be used to suction corrosive gases or work with corrosive liquids. MVLR-BE series products are equipped with water and gas separators and are ATEX certified.
