Measuring amplifier for inductive displacement sensors (LVDT)
The IMA2 LVDT measuring amplifier is designed to convert the output signals of inductive sensors into standardized output signals. The amplifier is factory-configured according to the selected version and provides the connected LVDT with an excitation of 1,2 Vrms or 5 Vrms at a frequency of with 2.5 or 5 kHz (max 20 kHz). The most important standardized analogue signals are optionally available at the output (0 ...5 V, 0 ...10 V, ±5 V, ±10 V, 0 ...20 mA, 4 ...20 mA).
The device is powered by a galvanically isolated 24 V DC supply and features integrated overvoltage protection of up to 40 V for safe operation. With a relative linearity deviation of less than 0.01% F.S. and a residual ripple of under 20 mV, the amplifier guarantees high measurement accuracy. All electronics are housed in a compact Phoenix UEGM enclosure designed for DIN rail mounting. Thanks to its low weight (100 g) and a wide operating temperature range of -25 °C to +85 °C, the IMA2-LVDT is suitable for a broad spectrum of industrial applications.
