Main features and performance:
The Series 71 Horizontal-Spindle, Rectangular-Table Surface Grinder is configured as a cross-slide layout for models with a table width ≤ 400 mm and as a moving-column layout for models with a table width > 400 mm. It grinds flat workpiece surfaces using the periphery of the grinding wheel; the wheel face can also be used to grind vertical surfaces and grooves. Suitable for machining rectangular tables, steel-insert guide rails, cemented carbide components and for precision finishing of a variety of parts.
