DescriptionThe MH Multipass 2.5 - 4-channel pyro is a quad-channel high-precision gas cell engineered to increase sensitivity in non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) gas analysis. Using a Herriott configuration, the optical path is extended to approximately 2.5 m within a compact 120 mm housing, allowing simultaneous measurement on four independent channels for multi-component analysis or reference signals.
The housing is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a PTFE protective coating to provide corrosion resistance and minimize contamination risks in humid or chemically aggressive environments. Optical components include gold-coated K9 mirrors and CaF₂ windows to ensure high reflectivity and infrared transmission across a broad wavelength range. Robust, vibration-resistant mirror mounts secure optical alignment for stable long-term signal integrity under dynamic industrial conditions.
A gas-tight O-ring sealing system supports safe operation from 500 to 1300 mbar and temperatures between -20 °C and +60 °C, ensuring consistent measurement performance throughout the product lifecycle. The cell is optimized for JSIR 350-4 infrared emitters and quad-channel thermopile or pyroelectric detectors from Micro-Hybrid, providing a matched optical interface within Micro-Hybrid NDIR platforms.
The flexible measurement cell can be configured for a range of gases and monitoring tasks, including CO, CO₂, CH₄, SO₂, NO, N₂O and SF₆. Its compact mechanical and optical design enables reliable integration into emissions monitoring systems, analytical instruments and OEM NDIR modules where sensitivity, stability and footprint are critical.
