Short descriptionThe MH Multipass 3,9 - 4 channel pyro is a quad-channel high-precision gas cell that significantly increases sensitivity in non-dispersive infrared gas analysis (NDIR). Based on a Herriott configuration, the optical path in a compact 120 mm housing has been extended to approximately 3.9 meters, allowing simultaneous measurement across four channels for precise detection of trace gas concentrations.
Design and materialsThe housing is made of 6061-T6 aluminum with a PTFE protective coating for corrosion resistance and reduced contamination risk. The cell uses gold-coated K9 mirrors and CaF2 windows to ensure excellent reflectivity and infrared transparency over a wide wavelength range. Stable, vibration-resistant mirror mounts secure optical alignment and long-term signal integrity.
Performance and compatibilityThe HC 3900 quad is optimized for JSIR 350-4 infrared emitters and multi-channel pyro or thermopile detectors from Micro-Hybrid, providing a matched optical interface for Micro-Hybrid’s all-in-one NDIR platform. The flexible measurement cell can be configured for various gases and environmental parameters, making it suitable for emission monitoring systems, analytical instruments, and OEM NDIR modules.
