The flat body gate valve has a cast iron body, handwheel, wedge and yoke. The stem and seats have been constructed from brass with AISI 304 stainless steel sealing for the seats and AISI 420 stainless steel for the stem. The device operates at a maximum working temperature of 80 degrees C with standard gaskets.
