Yodac Ex FD/SD40IS – Intrinsically Safe LED Beacon for Hazardous Areas The Yodac Ex FD/SD40IS Series is designed to deliver reliable visual signalling in hazardous industrial environments. Its intrinsically safe design ensures safety by limiting energy and heat, preventing ignition even in Zone 0 (highest gas risk) and Zone 20 (highest dust risk). It can be used where extremely flammable gases such as hydrogen or acetylene, or conductive/combustible dusts like sugar, flour or metal powders are present. The low operating energy eliminates risks of sparking or overheating, ensuring continuous protection even in the permanent presence of explosive atmospheres, and meets the highest safety standards. The unit requires an approved Zener barrier or galvanic isolator. Available in flashing (FD40IS) or static (SD40IS) versions, with up to 4 colour modules.
