Description
Servovalves of the MOOG D633 and D634 series are direct-coil controlled servovalves with electrical position feedback. The coil is driven via the fixed linear motor armature which moves the spool from the hydraulic neutral position in both directions. In the absence of a control signal the spool is held in neutral by a flat spring, providing a defined safe position in case of power loss. The valve electronics form a compact, integrated unit providing a closed-loop position control and efficient drive of the linear motor by pulse-width modulation (PWM). When using one of the supported control signal types, no additional interface is required.
