Microwave-based flow measurement for bulk solids MF 3000
Numerous bulk material applications require continuous measurement of mass flow, e.g. for exact dosing of a material or to determine the flow into a container. Many of the measuring systems commonly used today, such as belt scales, impact plates or bulk scales, are expensive, time-consuming to install and require a lot of maintenance. The MF 3000 is an alternative. It is designed for flow measurement in metallic pipes under pneumatic or free-fall conditions. It operates without contact or maintenance, is easy to retrofit and is suitable for measuring powder, dust, granules, pellets and filaments.
The MF 3000 can be used in lines with a max. diameter of 300 mm. It is possible to measure from 1 kg/h up to several t/h. If the material is evenly distributed and has a constant velocity, bulk density and particle size, an accuracy of up to 1% can be achieved.
The MF 3000 has an analog output, an alarm relay, a pulse output for counting, RS485 Modbus and a USB port for programming. High temperature and ATEX option are available.
