Tje PSG DOVER's Neptune Model 5003/5005 hydraulic diaphragm metering pumps are specifically made for low volume flows, with higher discharge pressure when compared to mechanical diaphragm pumps. They can be ordered with special explosion-proof models, for different harsh environments. They are used in oil/gas production and recovery applications, mostly for antifoam agent injection, or injection of corrosion inhibitors and similar additives, or for neat feeding of boiler chemicals. They feature pressures up to 3,000 PSI (210 kg/cm2), EZE-CLEAN™ valves, removable cartridges, electric stroke-length control, automatic capacity control in response to standard 4-20 mA process signal. The low stroking speed does not allow use of variable speed drives.
