The SR + LP series granulators have a cleaner and more uniform granulate and less heat build up in the regrind, and subsequently in the granulator. The series has been designed with rotor and stator knives which are counter angled to each other and produce a scissors type cutting action. The double angle cut also reduces noise emissions and consumes less energy. No special knife sharpening fixture is required as all the knives are straight sharpening. The cutting knives are pre-adjusted to the proper size gap outside by use of the knife setting fixture creating a constant gap. Knife changes are 60% quicker than adjusting knives within the granulator.
