Design SMV series granulators are mainly designed for stator as well as rotor knives that are counter angled with one another for producing a true scissors type cutting action. This provides cleaner and uniform granulate and heat reduction. Noise emissions and energy consumption is reduces due to double angle cut. There is no need for special knife sharpening as all the knifes are straight sharpening. All the different cutting knives are adjusted according to proper size gaps present outside the granulator. This creates a gap between screen and rotor blade circumference. thus, thermal stress is lowered and friction is reduced. The knife changes can happen quicker by 60%.
