Magnetic base BASE+

Overview
BASE+ is a compact mounting base for NEXELEC detectors. Discreet and small in size, BASE+ is space-saving and reduces damage to walls or ceilings during installation.

BASE+ is the standard mounting base for all NEXELEC detectors. More aesthetic and causing less property damage compared with larger installations.

Compatibility
BASE+ is compatible with unconnected smoke and carbon monoxide detectors from the following ranges: INSAFE+, ORIGIN, ORIGIN+, GUARD, GUARD+, SECURE+, AIR, AIR+. It is also compatible with heat detectors HEAT+ and WARM.

Assembly & mounting
Adjustable base to adapt the position of the detector. Assembly: wall or ceiling. To be used exclusively with NEXELEC detectors. BASE+ can be attached using screws and plugs (supplied) or an approved 3M adhesive mount (optional accessory).

Installation steps (detector on BASE+)

• Position the detector so that it fits lightly into its base.
• Turn a quarter turn to the right to engage the detector.
• The detector is now in place.
